Ontario Sweet Cider Competition

OFVC is pleased to welcome the Sweet Apple Cider Competition back to the Niagara Falls Convention Centre for 2026! This competition features producers from across the province, where entries must be made with 100% Ontario grown apples and the top three products are rewarded with medals.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Advanced registration required by Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
  • Cider must be made with 100% Ontario apples.
  • Only one sweet cider entry is allowed per business.
  • Quantity of cider to be shipped in advance or delivered in-person should be 4 Litres (or equivalent).
  • Entries received beyond dates and times outlined and bolded below will be disqualified.
  • Entries are accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis and limited spots are available.

Cider Delivery & Shipping Options

Entries must be 4L (or equivalent). Ensure all ciders are labelled directly on container – no neck tags.

In-person Delivery
Drop-off window is from 8:30am to 10:00am, Wednesday, February 18, 2026
next to the registration area in the main lobby (look for signage). Cider must be thawed at drop-off.
